Our oakframed home offices are insulated for use throughout the year and can be designed either on staddle stones (elevated above ground level) or can sit on top of a standard strip foundation with three courses of double skinned brickwork. The advantage of using staddle stones is that the building is deemed a temporary structure and therefore may not require planning permission, however we always recommend that you seek advice from your local council beforehand.
